First Native woman
in Congress? Mary Kim Titla, San Carlos Apache, is running a
historic Congressional campaign in Arizona District 1. She needs
your support. Mary Kim is an accomplished television journalist
and publisher of Native Youth Magazine online. Her district is
one of the poorest in the country. The current Congressman Rick
Renzi, who faces indictment on 35 charges including extortion,
wire fraud, conspiracy and embezzlement, obviously cannot be an
effective leader. We need someone who will work hard to improve
the lives of all people in District 1, especially those on
Indian reservations.
You can help restore this
district's faith in the system by sending Mary Kim to
Washington. Show your support by going to
www.gomarykim.com
and entering your e-mail in the "Join the Campaign" box.
Or, join dozens of other proud Native supporters from
around the country by contributing online at
www.gomarykim.com/contribute.
For each who joins, for each who gives, our solidarity
continues.
